        Student Dress Code 2011-2012

         

        All students are expected to adhere to the following standard of dress guidelines while on campus or while attending any off campus school sponsored activity.  All final decisions regarding appropriateness of the uniform, headwear, shoes, hairstyle, or appearance in general is left to the discretion of the administration.

         

        All undershirts must be tucked in. Shirts that are longer than a student’s arms must be tucked in. All shirts will be the discretion of the administration on whether it is tucked in.

         All articles of clothing must be one solid School color with no writing or graphics except that of Imagine Schools. 

         

        SCHOOL COLORS

        School colors are: Navy Blue, Light Blue, Yellow and White

         

        Girl’s Uniform

        - Polo shirts or button –down shirts (long or short sleeve) in navy blue, white, light blue, or yellow only.

        -  No oversized or ill fitted shirts.  Midriff must not show.

        -  Skorts, skirts, or shorts in navy blue or khakionly. Must not be more than 3 inches above the knee.

        Shorts and skorts can ONLY be worn during 1st and 4th grading periods. 

        -  Pants must be navy blue or khakionly (no sweat pants).

         

        Note: All undershirts are to be solid (no writing/graphics) and must be school colors.

                   All visible socks and leggings must be solid colors and in school colors.

                   Legs must be covered during the 2nd and 3rd grading periods. (ie leggings worn with skirts)

         

        Boy’s Uniform

        - Polo shirts or button down shirts (long or short sleeve) in navy blue, white, light blue, or yellow only.

        - No oversized shirts or ill fitted shirts.  Midriff must not show.

        - Shorts in navy blue or khakionly.  Shorts must not fall below the knee and no more than 3 inches above the knee. Shorts can ONLY be worn during the 1st and 4th grading periods. 

        - Pants in navy blue or khaki only.  NO baggy pants, sweat pants or pants with hems dragging the ground.

         

        OPTIONAL

        - Sweatshirts with collared shirt underneath

        (solid one color with no writing or graphics; NO HOODS or HOODIES) navy blue, white, light blue, or yellow

        -Sweaters, cardigan sweaters, and turtlenecks in navy blue, white, light blue, or yellow 

        -All Imagine logo shirts and sweatshirts are permitted.

         

        THE FOLLOWING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

        -         NO cell phones are to be on or visible at any time during the school day

        -         NO hats, scarves, gloves or bandanas in the school building.

        -         NO beepers, hand-held electronic devices, electronic games, and portable CD/MP3/ipods

        -         NO combat boots or boots with steel toes, jelly shoes, shoes with heels over 1 inch, open healed sandals or shoes, flip-flops, shoes with wheels, or slippers

        -         NO unnatural hair color or hair styles (ie. No Mohawks or graphics or words shaved into the hair),

        -         NO tattoos or facial piercings (stud/post earrings only)

        -         NO gum or candy

         

        DRESS CODE VIOLATION PROCEDURES: (repeated defiance will result in suspension)

                    -Remove or replace dress code violation

                    -Yellow slip or written warning

                    -Call home (parent contact)

                    -Detention (AM, Lunch, or PM)

                    -Suspensions for repeated violations and defiance
