ADVANCED READING CHALLENGE
Imagine Schools sponsors a reading challenge every school year. This
challenge requires students to read 25 on grade level, or above grade level
books before May 1st. This is something that students can work towards at
school while also reading at home. They need to complete an average of 4 books
a month to be successful with this challenge. In addition they must create a
project for each of the books they have read. These projects will be displayed
in a binder upon completion of the challenge. Project examples are listed in
the ARC packets. However, the options are endless! What's in it for the
student?! Each student that completes the challenge will receive a $50
gift card to Barnes and Noble from Imagine Schools! What better reward?
We hope that many students take on this reading challenge. Students will
experience a variety of literature and we hope they develop a new love of
reading and learning!
