If you love great novels,  check out SYNC's FREE summer reading program for teens. Great audio books, for free. It's open to both students and adults. Each week starting on June 14 through August 22nd SYNC will be releasing one classic and one current title. More of the titles are of interest for HS instead of MS but some titles will work for either.
Great titles for this year's list, including some must reads like Daughter of Smoke and Bone, The Eleventh Plague, Cleopatra's Moon, and Irises by Rosie author Francisco X. Stork.

A big shout out goes to our 28 students that represented Imagine Broadway and Imagine Master Academy Saturday at the International Reading Association city-wide Young Author Conference. Our parents and students were so excited to share their books they had written with a larger audience and to hear the awesome author speak about inspiration, gathering research in the rainforest, and the writing process!

This would not have been possible without the dedicated teachers that helped organize this event! Thank you Mrs. Alig, Mrs. Frye, Ms. Ricke, Miss Wymer, Ms. Kleinschmidt, and Mrs. Lalos!

Mark your calendars! Scholastic Book Fair May 21-25 at Imagine Master Academy. Stay tuned for more details.

Our 2012 national character essay contest was a sensational success! With 50 schools participating, many talented young Imagine Schools’ writers demonstrated understanding of timeless maxims on virtue. Thank you for your hard work to teach your students to express in writing what character means to them. The panel of readers was impressed with the quality of writing and with students’ understanding of the lasting importance of good character. Congratulations to our very own Caleb Pederson! Caleb was awarded with 2nd Place among all of the 7th Grade competitors!

See everyone Monday, April 9th.
